Stephan Livera

Stephan Livera's path to Bitcoin started with Austrian economics. As a teenager in Australia, he became fascinated with the work of Carl Menger, Ludwig von Mises, and the broader Austrian school of economic thought. That intellectual foundation would later make him one of the most articulate voices explaining why Bitcoin matters as money, not just as technology.

Professionally, Livera built a career in traditional finance, working at Deloitte, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, and Macquarie Group. He studied economics, commerce, and accounting, giving him a rigorous analytical framework that he would eventually apply to Bitcoin. When he launched the Stephan Livera Podcast in 2018, he brought that same rigor to every conversation.

The podcast quickly became one of the most respected shows in Bitcoin. With over 700 episodes, Livera interviews the sharpest economic and technical minds in the space: developers, CEOs, economists, authors, and analysts. What sets his show apart is the depth.
